Delivery

Please read our delivery terms below :
- Unless pre-arranged, deliveries are generally made by one delivery person. If bulky or heavy items have been ordered with the One man option and you require the goods to be taken upstairs, please ensure adequate help is on hand to complete the delivery.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all ordered goods fit into the home and that there is no restricted access. Nicky Cornell cannot accept refunds for goods that cannot fit into the home or cannot be delivered due to access, unsuitability or any fault of the customer.
- Deliveries are made by either Nicky Cornell logistics or by 3rd party specialist furniture contractors. Due to congestion and traffic hold-ups, times for delivery are estimates only.
- All goods shall remain the property of Nicky Cornell until the customer has paid for them in full.
- Due to current Health and Safety insurance requirements and the current culture of litigation, we as a company are not responsible for any damage to goods and or property as a result of deliveries beyond the threshold of your property. Items delivered upstairs are carried out at the property owners risk.
- If for any reason the customer fails to accept delivery of any of the goods when they are delivered or Nicky Cornell is unable to deliver the goods on time because the customer has not provided appropriate access, documents or payment authorisations then Nicky Cornell may, but need not, store the goods until the next delivery, and if it does provide such storage, the customer shall be liable for all related costs and expenses (including, without limitation, storage and insurance) at a cost of £20 per fortnight.
- We reserve the right to defer the date of delivery or to cancel the contract (without liability to the customer) if it is prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of its business due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Nicky Cornell.
- For goods in stock, payment must be made in full whether goods are being collected immediately by the customer or delivered. The delivery charge must also be settled in full.
- Chateau/Valbonne Furniture. Please note: Each piece of furniture is individual and hand made. Any visible stains, marks and cracks are part of the desired finish and should not be considered as defects. Colours may vary slightly and cracks may appear overtime, this is normal and part of the desired effect and will not be accepted as faulty or returned.
- For items which are out of stock, a 50% deposit must be made. This deposit is non-refundable after three days from date of order and cannot be used against a future purchase should the customer change their mind. Please be sure about your order to avoid these charges. The goods will not be delivered on the agreed delivery date unless cleared funds for the entire purchase price have been received in full 4 days prior to the agreed delivery date.
- We aim to keep everything in stock but as our reproduction furniture is hand-made the re-order time for goods can be between 8-12 weeks. We aim to be as accurate as we can with delivery estimates but they are not binding. Delays may occur in shipping which we have no control of and we ask our customers to be patient should unforeseen delays occur.
- All prices in our shop and on our website include 17.5% VAT.
